Kaspersky: Interest to anti-drone security jumps 150% in Jan–Apr

MOSCOW, May 12 (PRIME) -- Demand for anti-drone protection leaped by 150% on the year in January–April, Vladimir Turov, head of division Kaspersky Antidrone, told PRIME on Friday.

“Today we see a steadily growing interest to protection against drones. We get requests regularly, almost daily, to demonstrate the work of our solution, its price calculation, and its further acquisition,” Turov said.

Antivirus maker Kaspersky created software and hardware complex Kaspersky Antidrone in 2019 as a shield against unmanned aircraft vehicles. The company expands the line of equipment.

A mobile device detecting drones, Kaspersky Antidrone Portable, was unveiled in April.
